Removal of Wreck                    Issue Date: 6th August, 2021

 

Sierra Leone Maritime Administration has allocated funds for the removal of wrecks, in accordance with its Costal State obligations. The International Maritime Conventions further provides for States to ensure safety of navigation. Geographical scope of application is Sierra Leone’s territorial waters.

In light of the foregoing, the Sierra Leone Maritime Administration (SLMA) is requesting Expression of Interest for the removal of wrecks.

Sealed expressions with “Procurement No SLMA/ENV/RFP/2021/002: “the removal of wrecks” written on the envelope is to be deposited at the Procurement Unit of Sierra Leone Maritime Administration Government Wharf Freetown.

The closing date and time of the Expression Of Interest is on the 20th August, 2021 at 12:00Pm and submission will be opened at the Sierra Leone Maritime Administration Board Room on the 20th August, 2021at 12:10 pm.

Submission should be in English.

Sierra Leone Maritime Administration is open to various forms of commercial arrangements.

Within the Expression of Interest, interested parties should include a high-level financial statement that evaluates a range of commercial models.

  1. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Sierra Leone Maritime Administration is particularly interested in looking for a Company that can perform the above function.
